Online Radios && Podcasting

Just out of curiousity, do you listen to internet radios or podcasts? Which stations do you listen to? Do you prefer live streaming or MP3’s via podcasting? Do you use Windows Media Player or Real Player or some other software? (I temporarily open comments to everyone. You don’t have to register in order to leave a comment.)

P.S. Personally, I listen daily to BBC’s Radio 4 and various science shows on the same site. I also listen to Belarusian language radios: RFE/RL on a daily basis, and state-run TVR.by a couple times per week, as well as Radio Sweden in Belarusan once a week.

    Hmmmm I occasionally listen to Radio Roks http://roks24.com/ and radio Alpha http://alpha.tut.by/ These are the only two online radio stations I could find in Belarus. Wish I could understand what they say :)

    I enjoy the Rick Steves podcast. Rick Steves is a travel writer here in the US.

    I also listen to German podcasts from Audible.de and Annik Reubens (Schlaflos in München).

    Hi, ericn613! Nice to see you. :) You have sent two comments, but I accidentally deleted one thinking it was a duplicate. But I think it wasn’t…

    Actually both those stations broadcast in Russian. Believe both Roks and Alpha are state-run… Alpha fo sure. You are right, they play music most of the time. Im amazed how much music there is compared to local radio stations here… I’d say roughly 5 times as much. However news broadcasts and such… lol dont ask me as of what they’re saying :D

    I would listen to http://proggedradio.com all the time — if it were not for the f***ing dial-up.

    I listen a lot to Radio Stolitsa and Radius FM , both state run Belarussian stations, with a lot of good Russian music (www.tvr.by)

    Well, I’ve been a big fan of satellite radio for over 3 years, but now I switched to online radio streams. Some of my most frequent choices: RFE/RL, NPR, BBC, tvr.by and a whole bunch of stations from Live365.com.

    tvr.by??? rydel you surprise me :))

    i personally don’t listen to any on regular basis; just autoradio and alpha ocassionally while in the car.

    > tvr.by??? rydel you surprise me :))

    Mirritil: It’s like SETI, a singal from an alien universe. :))) But, on a more serious note, sometimes they have interesting culture programs.
