Hello! May I ask you a question which is not related to this topic? I noticed somewhere that you are a listener to the Belarusian programme of the Swedish Radio. I have done a bit of lobbying for making its profile less general and more politically controversial in a Belarusian context. (There are two posts about this on my archive page, http://tobiasarchive.blogspot.com.) Today, topics that relate to Belarusian human rights and democracy issues do occur in the programme, but in general the content feels very harmless and not very much unlike the Belarusian television’s coverage of various nice events. Since you perhaps are a more regular listener than I am, and also a Belarusian national, it would be interesting to know if you have any opinion on this matter.
Best regards,
Tobias Ljungvall

Tobias: I totally agree with you that it’s kind of “toothless” and totally apolitical. Nevertheless, I learn things about Sweden when I listen to it. And, anyway, it’s just a short 30-minute block, so I never set my hopes high about it. For me it never was a news source, it was just a nice little show to learn something new about Konungariket Sverige. ;)
