Skiing && Aerials

As we were enjoying the weekend in the beautiful Czech countryside, somewhere near to us a famous Belarusan Olympic medalist in aerials was busy getting another world cup victory (in fact, he is our only hope for a medal in Torino):

Špindleruv Mlyn, Czech Republic — Dmitri Dashinski of Belarus earned his third victory of the season yesterday in a World Cup aerials competition. Dashinski earned 251.77 points in the two-round race and moved to the second position in the overall standings. Xiaopeng Han of China finished second with 244.44, followed by Dmitri Rak of Belarus with 224.80.

Špindleruv Mlyn is a pretty nice ski resort, we went there once last winter and had lots of fun (notwithstanding my stomach aches). Maybe I’ll upload some photos to my photo blog some time.
