Tents on October square

Of course, today there are fewer people on the square (est.7,000-10,000) but they seem to be more determined. They already put up 4 or 5 tents and said they’ll stay on the October square night and day, until the new election date is set, in July. Milinkevich said he does not recognize the official results (which are massively falsified, of course).

Hundreds of special police units are stationed in the backyards of the buildings adjacent to the October square.

Rea: Thank you. Well, there are other news sources too, tradional media outlets:

First of all, you can use Google News, for keywords such as “Belarus” or “Milinkevich”:

Hi! I am originally from Belarus, and have been living in the U.S. for quite a while now. All of my family is still there, so, naturally, I am both concerned for my people and anxious for things to change. What can we do to support Belarus? This blog seems very very comprehensive and informative, and I am so thankful that things like this exist.
Do you have any advice or ideas for how we can push for change if we’re not living in Belarus at the moment?
    Thanks!
